About the Author

What inspired me to write this book was the fact that as I daily meditate and immerse myself studying God’s word, I came to realization the profuse aspect of God’s favour intersperses throughout the word of God, which sad to say that, many are not aware of it. God’s Spirit led me to discover remarkably the crucial role Gods favour plays daily in our Christian lives. Upon this discovering, in the year 2001, I therefore wrote my first book – the favour of God to catch the attention of Christians. With the passage of time however, further studies on the subject matter led me to a deeper understanding and revelation of God’s favour. It must be realized that if Christians would understand the centrality of God’s favour, and meditatively pray and believe in the reality of it; spiritual transformation of greater magnitude would happen to many lives. This book therefore is to make known to all that favor of God is not exclusively available by any elite or selected group of people in the society per se. What is essential however, is establishing the right relationship with God and having the passionate desire and willingness to draw closer to Him. When this is done however, one would be recipient of God’s divine favour. In my own Christian journey of life, the reality of God’s favor clearly has been manifested in my life. I have experienced it and enjoying it and this has motivated me to resonate to all and sundry that it is not by descent, parentage, background or social connection that could earn anyone the favor of God. Clearly to know that no one can work his or her way in life to earn God’s favor, it exclusively falls within the domain of Almighty God. Therefore, I entreat all desiring God’s favor to draw closer to Him, and to have an intimate relationship with Him in order to see the goodness of God. Recipients or benefactors of God’s favor would achieve life best and live a purposeful life to the glory of God.

Readers from all walks of life would be thrilled to know that seeking and desiring God’s favor is a possibility, not impossibility to attain in life? It is a reality, not an illusion if one sets the heart and mind to draw closer to God. Many people by reading this devotional book and prayerfully believe in the reality of God’s favour would undoubtedly begin to bask or enjoy the power of God’s favour in their lives.

The uniqueness of this book stems from the fact that when one wholly has the passionate desire to live for God, His favor would impact every area of individual’s life. Clearly, this  devotional book would be a practical book to live and experience the reality of God’s favor, not in theoretical and in the speculative realm of life.

Writing is a creative ability endowed by the living God. We put our writing skills to advance a worthy cause for humanity. My varied experiences in life tremendously have shaped my thoughts and impacted my Christian journey of life. This no doubt has contributed to my writings, which is not philosophical to say, but practical and experiential. Though I have a university degree in mathematics and Computer science, but realized that God can used whatever background one has to advance His Kingdom purposes and for His glory.   

Bible is a book of life and a precious gem given to us by our Creator God to chart our pilgrim of life on this earth. God told Joshua to meditate upon His word day and night so that his way would be prosperous and have good success. To this advice, Joshua did and had tremendous success and prospered. It must be noted however that the centerpiece of every generation should be on the God of creation, and nothing else. Guess what would happen to lives if the generation we live in, set their hearts and mind upon God of creation and live according to His precepts?

Clearly, it is a common knowledge the world we live in is going through a very horrendous and difficult times. The current climate is sin infected for greediness, immorality, crime and all forms of evil abound in greater proportion to such an extent that God’s moral values held so dear in our hearts for centuries are completely torn down in our generation. The prevailing concept is that do whatever seems right and good regardless of its consequences in life. Righteous and honorable way of living which extols God is no more tolerated and seems awkward in our society. In the Scriptures God always visited nations with retribution who veered off from His righteous way of life, for Bible says righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. It is a common knowledge however, in our present generation the way people live their lives not different from the lifestyle practiced in the biblical times which caused God’s anger, displeasure and vengeance. However, in the midst of debauchery, depravity and wickedness some people choose to fear God, honor God and practiced piety and in the circumstances God’s favor radiates towards them. This devotional book on God’s favor poignantly echoes to all people seeking God’s favor to walk unblemished and to live righteously in this current climate of ungodliness and unrighteousness. By doing so, God’s protection, preservation, blessings and many other enviable things would be granted in life by God!
